Why biomechanics? Why now?
Rhythm cycling innovators have redefined what is possible on the bike, but social media content spreads faster than knowledge. Around the world, this has created a knowledge vacuum that leads to ineffective, inefficient, and potentially dangerous choreography. By sharing the movement science of advanced rhythm cycling choreography, we are supporting studios and coaches around the world to be intentional about what they offer in classes, strengthen customer acquisition and retention, and usher in a new era of rhythm cycling professional integrity. With this course, House of Ride proudly takes our first step toward creating a global standard for rhythm cycling classes. This is the culture shift.

FAQs
Q: What equipment do I need to complete this course? A: A stationary bike (Stages or other stable rhythm cycling bikes are recommended) and cycling shoes with cleats. Q: How many years experience do I need as a coach to take this course? A: We usually recommend 1+ years, but your physical stamina and coaching skills are more important. If you are secure in a run/double pace, you'll have the physical level to take the course. Regarding coaching, you should already have a natural flow and confidence when teaching in order to benefit from this course fully. Q: Can I apply this in my own classes immediately? A: Yes. However, as you'll explore in the course, matching your class difficulty level to your riders is key. We recommend challenging your community whilst being realistic about the time required to lead their progression. Q: How long will the course take. A: A minimum of 15 hours. It may take up to 18 hours or longer depending on how long the homework assignments take you. Q: What makes this different from other rhythm cycling education? A: We believe movement science is the foundation of emotional experiences in class. We never skip the theory because strong communities only grow from robust foundations. Q: I have attended the Mastery training in-person. Will this course still be useful? A: Yes, this course will still be useful. The content of this online course is very similar to Mastery. It can be used as a refresher if you studied Mastery a while ago.
